Andy’s End of Month Update : June 2010

This month started out very bleak, with our Hope Gardens Family Center facing closure. Raising the $2.8 million that was necessary seemed like a daunting, near impossible task.  But at Union Rescue Mission and Hope Gardens Family Center, we see God perform miracles every day!  Thanks to everyone’s amazing support and generosity, we were able to raise enough to keep these precious moms and children at Hope Gardens, safely away from Skid Row!

    Greetings to you in the precious & gracious name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

    It is a great joy to inform you about the Lords faithful ness and goodness in every area of our ministry. Thank you so much for your heartfelt encouragements and prayers towards us. In the midst of persecution Lord honors our efforts and makes miracles happen right before our eyes because of your prayers.

    You know I am working with my coworkers among the poor tribal in the villages. We are encouraging our believers .I am reaching the un reached and house churches by walking and sharing the Love of Christ in their own language.

    We are doing small small gospel meeting in the houses .Every month we are doing fasting prayers current month we have fasting prayer from 26th to 28th for 3 days. You remember that we are also praying for you.

    By the grace of God we could provide 17 poor & persecuted children for their schooling like school bag, note khata, pen, pencil, eraser, scale etc. and also helped medicines for malaria fever for more than 30 Children. I thank to the Lord in the midst of persecution He wonderfully used us to do this work though it was out or our capacity.

    You know that the Hindu monk killed on23rd Aug.2008.The blame came to Christians and till now many Christians in Jail and many people suffer like anything. On 18th Aug people threatened by phone to attack and kill to the in charge of that monk. Police investigated and arrested 3 person. For this threatening also they were suspecting to the Christians. Now it is clear that those who threatened they are from their monk groups. They are the disciple of that Monk. It is secret news that his disciple killed their monk. Police investigating about this matter I hope after some day the news will come out. You know that innocent Christians are in Jail.

    Please pray for the persecuted people till now they are living under the trees because they could not build their house and suffer like anything lack of food. Please pray for the Christians those who are in jail. Please pray for educate the children their Institute demolished in the violence.Please pray for our ministry workers and believers for their spiritual growth.Please pray for our land that the Lord wil heal.

    We need your prayerful co operation suggestion, instruction and addition to continue this ministry in the midst of persecution. if it is possible you may give financial assistance too.
